Job summary

ARG PETRO in Laredo, TX is seeking a Class A CDL Driver with Tanker and X endorsements for the night shift at the 359 Terminal. The role focuses on safe loading, transportation, and unloading of fuel products, with attention to DOT compliance and customer service.

You will inspect vehicles, maintain logs, and deliver to various sites while upholding safety policies. A minimum of 3 years driving experience (1 year tanker) and a clean DOT medical card are required; weekends and holidays rotation

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and X (Hazmat) endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, with at least 1 year driving a tanker.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work extended hours indoors and outdoors.
• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Current and valid DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in 3 years).
• Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel using the truck’s transfer pump.
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain driving logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations.
• Deliver product to customer sites including convenience stores, oilfields, and trucking yards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
