Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking a Chemist Entry in Kansas City, MO. The role involves nightly 7pm–7am shifts performing routine analytical testing in the Analytical Services laboratory and supporting process control, quality control, and development activities.

The incumbent will prepare solutions, operate LIMS/CDS, maintain glassware, and ensure accurate data entry and reporting. Relevant wet chemistry skills and HPLC/GC familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field with wet chemistry skills.
• Basic understanding of HPLC and GC operation.
• Capable of performing routine analytical testing and recording results.

Responsibilities

• Work night shift 7pm–7am performing routine analytical testing.
• Prepare solutions, clean glassware and manage waste per protocol.
• Operate LIMS and CDS systems and review analytical data.
• Record, calculate and report results accurately.
• Identify process improvements and support safety programs.
