Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc., is seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to manufacture chemical batches in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role involves operating reactors and process equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and accurate inventory, with opportunities for growth within the MAES Team. Must be able to work 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM as part of a night shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with batch processes in a production or lab setting.
• Must be able to operate safely in a clean-room environment and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to manufacture chemical batches following SOPs.
• Handle reactors, tanks, pumps, mixers, meters, valves, and related equipment.
• Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials and finished products for correct ingredients and inventory.
• Perform packaging, labeling, and boxing operations per SOPs.
• Collect process samples and coordinate with lab personnel for analysis.
• Maintain log sheets and equipment inspection records.
• Attend required HSE training and adhere to safety regulations.
• Train other operators as needed to improve safety and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S in the work area.
