Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc., part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Shift Charge Nurse for the 7:00pm–7:30am shift with rotating weekends and on-call. This leadership role supports clinical and administrative operations on the unit and reports to the Nurse Manager.

Required are a Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification, plus at least 3 years of current nursing experience in the relevant specialty.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• At least 3 years of current nursing experience in the relevant specialty within last 2 years.
• Demonstrated leadership and clinical competence on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership on the shift.
• Supervise and collaborate with unit staff during overnight hours.
• Ensure compliance with policies and patient care standards.
• Coordinate patient care and on-call coverage as needed.
