The Charge Nurse Labor & Delivery role in Louisville, KY supports patient care on the unit, providing leadership to clinical staff during third shift. This is a full-time, nights position with opportunities to mentor nurses and coordinate care for obstetric patients.

The unit delivers about 3,000 babies per year; candidates must hold Kentucky RN license, an associate degree in nursing, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN License is required.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) required.
• 2 years of NICU/Newborn Nursery/Neonatal experience required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate care on designated shifts and provide leadership to unit staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Serve as a role model and participate in professional development and governance.
