Job summary

Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Turning Point unit, working 7 pm to 7 am on a part-time basis. Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Mississippi.
• Must possess superior knowledge of nursing care needs and coordinate a nursing plan with physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications, including intravenous therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Completes initial nursing assessment and develops treatment plan within 8 hours of admission.
• Participates in treatment planning and progress reviews.
• Acts as charge nurse and supervisor on assigned shift.
• Leads patient education groups and coordinates care with physicians and the treatment team.
