Qualifications

• Advanced certifications (CCRN, CEN, RNC, etc.) within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line leadership and decision-making for departmental staff, ensuring quality and safety of care.
• Develops unit staffing plans based on patient acuity and oversees day-to-day operations on the designated shift.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts staffing to meet fiscal goals of the unit.
• Coordinates patient flow, admission pull-through and timely discharges from the unit.
• Supports department and organizational objectives including patient experience and quality measures.
