The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and continuous skill development. Required credentials include High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification required or equivalent credential.
• CPCT/A or NCCT Patient Care Technician certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks under nurse supervision.
• Responds appropriately to clinical emergencies.
• Supports quality standards and improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to isolation guidelines and safety procedures.
• Continues to learn and upgrade clinical skills.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and healthcare team.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment.
• Assists in documenting procedures and nursing history as needed.
