Darling Ingredients in Pittsburgh seeks a Grease Route Driver to operate a grease collection truck, service customers, and return to the Imperial, PA facility.

The position requires a CDL A or B with tanker endorsements, a clean MVR, and 21+ years old. Work Sundays night through Thursdays night for 10-hour days, with no weekends; safety meetings and regular paperwork are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR.
• Current CDL A or B license holder with tanker endorsements.
• Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

Responsibilities

• Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; return containers with screen and lock secured; notes any damages to container or corral area; properly completes route ticket with customer signature.
• Responsible for established route as assigned.
• Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition.
• Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules.
• Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude.
• Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
• Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
• All other duties as assigned.
