Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc is seeking experienced CDL B dump truck drivers to support night shift operations on heavy civil construction projects in Chesapeake, VA. You will haul dirt, rock, asphalt, and milling debris between job sites and assist with grading, excavation, and pipe installation as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of dump truck experience, a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CDL B dump truck in heavy civil construction.
• Valid CDL B license with clean driving record; CDL A is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, weight limits, and truck safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks to haul materials between job sites.
• Support grading, excavation, and paving operations by transporting materials as needed.
• Load and unload materials with proper weight distribution and compliance with load limits.
• Follow haul routes and DOT regulations while maintaining safety policies.
• Inspect vehicles daily and perform basic maintenance checks.
