Job summary

Gordon Food Service in San Antonio, TX is seeking a CDL A Transit Driver for night runs, delivering trailers to distribution centers and point-to-point routes with doubles endorsement required. You’ll be home every day and benefit from a safety-focused culture and competitive pay.

The role requires reading/writing English, a clean driving record, and DOT compliance. Start time around 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; the schedule includes night shifts with days off; benefits begin day one, and company offers

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• CDL Class A license required at hire.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Doubles (T) endorsement required.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs (connecting trailers).
• Must read/write/communicate in English (DOT compliance).
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded and empty trailers, singles or doubles.
• Operate from Gordon Food Service distribution centers or point-to-point on night routes.
• Home time is daily with night shifts.
• Ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
