Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver for night feed deliveries in Tarboro, NC. You will complete a driver training program and ensure safe loading, unloading, and delivery of feed while upholding animal welfare.

You must meet DOT rules, maintain a clean driving record, be 21+, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Relocation package is available; Smithfield values safety, teamwork, and dependable service.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL.
• Previous driving experience required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete a driver training program.
• Follows safety procedures while driving, delivering feed or loading/unloading with animal welfare as the foremost concern.
• Complies with all DOT rules and regulations.
• Reports all accidents promptly through proper authorities.
• Complies with all rules set forth by the receiving agent.
