Job summary

Atlantic Marine Warehouse is seeking a Night Shift Dump Truck Driver / Automated Loadout Operator in Savannah, GA. You will safely drive a dump truck, operate an automated loadout system via a tablet, verify weights, and complete required documentation while following DOT and company policies.

The role requires night-shift availability, adherence to safety standards, and independent work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to meet DOT driver qualification, medical certification, and drug/alcohol testing requirements.
Experience safely operating dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.
Comfort using a tablet and touchscreen controls.
Ability to read and follow load instructions and safety procedures.
Reliable attendance in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a dump truck and comply with DOT, state, local requirements and company policy.
Perform nighttime material movements and deliveries following routes, site rules and customer instructions.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report defects or safety concerns.
Maintain and verify load weights, ensure proper distribution and secure loads; document as required.
Use automated loadout system to select orders, confirm destination and verify accuracy of loads.
