Job summary

Chestnut Labs is seeking a Caser/Break Relief Employee to support production operations in Santa Ana, CA. The role involves operating casers, ESL filling, coding and packaging equipment, with coverage for breaks and lunches to maintain quality and safety standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:00pm–6:30am; off Saturday and Sunday. Candidates must read, write, and speak English and be able to operate material handling equipment after certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to be company certified user of material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, barrel trucks, reel dollies, reel clamps).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate box-forming and casing equipment.
• Operate ESL filling equipment.
• Set up and operate coding and marking equipment.
• Follow GMP and food safety procedures.
• Perform product sampling and maintain required documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production and warehouse areas.
• Provide break and lunch relief coverage for production employees.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following certification requirements.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
