UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Care Aide in Medical Surgical Combination to support patient care during night shifts. Your role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care under an RN's supervision.

Qualifications

• It is preferred that applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
• Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Maintains patient rooms and common areas in a stocked, clean, and orderly condition.
• Keeps patient records and documentation accurate and legible.
