The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is immediately hiring a General Maintenance / Automotive Technician (Night Shift) in Albany, NY. Pay range is $20–$24 per hour with weekly pay. Role involves servicing delivery vans, oil changes, tire services, and basic diagnostics on a night shift.

Ideal for 1–3 years of automotive experience seeking growth into fleet maintenance. Blocks include 9PM–7AM or 9–6AM shifts, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Valid drivers license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ASE Certification(s) preferred.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical and A/C work.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and tire installation.
• Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
