Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Boxformer Operator on the 3rd shift to form and seal boxes for packaging. You will work with the production team to ensure correct box formation and proper sealing on the line.

The role offers a union wage progression starting at 80% of the full rate, with pay increases after six months and one year. The schedule runs Saturday to Wednesday, with overtime and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check machine setup at shift start and keep stock supplied.
• Operate pallet jack to move flat stock.
• Adjust boxmaker for each size and maintain seals.
• Record downtime and monitor glue operation.
• Notify supervisor of any production issues.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist with changeovers.
