Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk who helps create a welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.

You will connect with customers, share product knowledge, stock and rotate displays, and maintain clean, attractive sections across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. You should be comfortable with fast-paced work, able to lift and move stock, follow safety standards, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn and use store technology.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
