Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is hiring for a Bagger in the Blending department. The role operates a bagging machine, ensures product labeling and weight accuracy, and confirms successful metal detector checks before bags leave the line.

The position requires the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) in a production environment with exposure to aromas and moving machinery. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; good math skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bagging machine to fill bags with product and ensure correct labeling and weight.
• Ensure bags pass through the metal detector safely.
• Stack bags on the correct skid color and keep area clean.
• Return unused labels for recording and verify batch numbers match product codes.
• Detect and report any metal detector or machinery malfunctions.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; report shortages to the lead operator.
