Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Automotive / Fleet Technician (Night Shift) in Worcester, MA. This full-time role runs 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM with weekly pay and top annual earnings between $58,240 and $72,800 before taxes.

You'll service delivery vans and DOT vehicles at client sites, perform oil changes, tire services, diagnostics, and advanced repairs, and may train in a customer retail setting before client work. DOT certification available after hire.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake related services.
• DOT Brake Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and DOT physical compliance, age 21+.

About the Role: What will you do?

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site

• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation

• Advanced repairs and state inspections

• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site

Basic Requirements:

• 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT regulated inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake related services

• Must have DOT Brake Certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire or we'll help you get it within 30 days.

• Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• ASE Certification (s)

• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience
