Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Lexington, KY is hiring immediately for Brake Technician roles within our fleet service centers. Starting pay is $20.00–$24.00/hr with a $1 shift differential, and a 5-day, 7pm–3am schedule is in place.
This entry-level to mid-level position focuses on preventive maintenance for client vans and basic repairs. You will perform oil changes, brake services, diagnostics, and tire installations, with training available for advanced repairs and state inspections,
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs.
- Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
- Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
- Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
- Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
