Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Aviation Supervisor of Janitorial Services in Orlando to oversee cleaning and maintenance operations at an airport facility or cabin cleaning services. The role leads a team, coordinates daily tasks, and liaises with airport management to maintain a clean and safe environment for passengers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years supervisory experience in janitorial services or similar environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, tools and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support janitorial staff daily.
• Assign cleaning tasks and ensure all areas are maintained.
• Train and mentor staff, promoting excellence and efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and address issues.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Respond to and resolve cleanliness or production issues quickly.
• Communicate with site leadership and other departments as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures when using cleaning products/equipment.
• Maintain records of schedules, attendance, and evaluations.
• Perform custodial work during spikes or emergencies.
