Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring an Overnight Exterior Wax Agent for the MCO Airport to buff, wax, and apply protective coatings on aircraft exteriors.

You will prepare surfaces, apply wax evenly, and buff for a high-quality finish while following aviation safety guidelines. The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, working flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to access information in print and electronic form, including IPads/Tablets and computers.
• Need to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in person and online.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be eligible to obtain FAA/TSA/Port Authority credentials as applicable.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply wax and protective coatings to exterior aircraft surfaces.
• Operate waxing/polishing equipment.
• Ensure smooth, even wax application on fuselages, wings and tails.
• Prepare and finish exterior surfaces per procedures.
• Inspect surfaces for cleanliness before waxing.
• Follow safety protocols at heights and around aircraft.
• Coordinate waxing after exterior cleaning with the cleaning team.
• Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness and organization.
• Use environmentally safe waxing products per regulations.
• Monitor waxing equipment and report malfunctions.
• Stay updated on best waxing practices and innovations.
• Keep records of waxing services per aircraft.
• Assist training of new team members on waxing techniques and safety.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors and airport staff.
• Ensure finished appearance meets airline and PrimeFlight standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
