Select Medical is hiring an Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift at Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown. This role is crucial for delivering excellent care in a critical illness recovery environment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid RN license and BLS certification, ensuring top-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document accurately and timely using electronic systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
