Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, oversee technicians, and ensure safe, effective therapy for patients on a rotating overnight schedule from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The Pharmacist will verify orders, coordinate workflow, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting the hospital's high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Pharmacist licensure in state of practice.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college.
• Arizona license at hire or within 90 days; wallet card required.
• Experience in acute hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care and review medication orders.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns; coordinate workflow.
• Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile/non-sterile products.
• Document patient care activities in EMR and ensure compliance.
