Job summary

Sunset Ford St. Louis is seeking Night Service Technicians (entry level and experienced) for both part-time and full-time roles. The shift runs 3pm–11:30pm and includes a premium wage differential with an estimated wage boost of over $300 monthly for evening work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Must have mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Address manufacturer safety recalls and perform them per the Ford workshop manual procedures.
• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.

This shift from 3pm-11:30pm comes with a premium wage differential when compared to the same role during typical day shifts.

Candidates will see more than $300 per month increase in wages by joining our evening shift.
