Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security officer for night shifts at a client site in New York. You will observe, report, and respond to incidents to protect people and property while on duty.

Stand for extended periods and work independently on camera and patrol rounds. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, and a driver’s license. Ability to understand and communicate in English is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
