Job summary

AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking a Security Officer to perform all security-related tasks, respond to alarms, screen visitors after hours, and document incidents per policy. You will maintain safety, operate CCTV and access controls, and assist in emergencies with training and de-escalation skills.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Driver's License, 40-hour Security Officer training, and optional BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license required.
• 40-hour Security Officer training completed.
• Hazmat training beneficial.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all security-related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Respond to alarms and provide assistance as needed.
• Screen visitors and employees after hours.
• Document crimes, incidents, and safety irregularities.
• Administer initial first aid as appropriate.
