The role involves screening people, personal items, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized access, monitoring surveillance and weapons screening systems, and providing wayfinding support while addressing security concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• BLS Certification required; IAHSS CHSO must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Screen individuals entering the facility, inspect personal items and vehicles to prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor surveillance and weapons screening systems; respond to emergencies or suspicious activities.
• Provide wayfinding support and address security concerns promptly and effectively.
