DK Security, Inc. is seeking Security Officers to protect clients' properties. No prior experience required; veterans and those with related backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Shifts vary (2nd and 3rd), weekends required, pay $17.00–$18.00/hour.

This position is non-armed; CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required or available to obtain. Dental, vision, and paid sick days are among offered benefits. Officers will perform patrols, observe and report, control access, and liaise with client

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 17(2). (Must also be at least 21 years old and be a Michigan CPL or LEOSA cardholder to perform armed security work).
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter, including for marijuana.
• Must not have felonies per MCL 338.1060 and no misdemeanors related to dishonesty or violence.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8–12 hours.
• Must lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must be able to see clearly at 20 feet and hear in loud environments.
• Must be able to use a smart phone or computer for training and emails.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must be professional with excellent customer service and integrity.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service and be a positive reflection of the company.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard at various locations.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Ensure access control and verify IDs per procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and enforce policies.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED as needed.
• Communicate with client staff and site supervisor.
