Securitas Security is hiring an Experienced Security Guard for a full-time role in Hillsboro, OR. The position involves monitoring entrances, performing patrols, reporting incidents, and collaborating with client staff to maintain safety and security.

Qualifications include 18+ years, high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and prior security or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Advanced computer / technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Suite needed.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client's premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
