Job summary

BGI Security, LLC is seeking a dedicated security officer to patrol our premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents on a 16:00–04:00 shift with alternating midweek and weekend days off.

The role emphasizes vigilance, report writing, and adherence to CPTED and Incident Command System practices, with a focus on safeguarding staff and visitors. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• DPS licensed AZ Unarmed Guard card is required.
• Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with CPTED, the Incident Command System, and critical infrastructure protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows at the end of operations.
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Investigate suspicious activities or possessions.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activities and important occurrences.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to job functions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
