US Foods, Inc. is seeking Night Sanitation Workers to clean and maintain the warehouse and related property during the Sunday-Thursday 10pm–7am shift in Zebulon, NC. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork as foundational to our culture.

You will sweep, empty trash, scrub product bays, monitor for spills, perform light maintenance, and help keep our facility compliant with food safety standards. Benefits start day one; base pay starts at $18 per hour.

Formación

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial/sanitation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Sweep and clean the entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empty trash bins and clean trash area; operate compactors if applicable.
• Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on rotating basis.
• Clean up spills or breakages; handle damaged product per regs.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (bulbs, recycling, etc.).
• Maintain facility grounds and operate basic equipment as needed.

Our Sanitation Workers strive for integrity and reliability while building trusting relationships with team members.Sweeps and cleans the entire warehouse to maintain the required level of cleanliness.Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.Cleans and up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoups damage and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and U.S. Foodservice food safety requirements.Performs light maintenance duties as assigned (i.e., replacement of light bulbs, collecting recyclable materials, paper and shrink wrap collection pickup, checking freezer and cooler for leaks or ice buildup, etc.)Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedules, spillages, product damage, etc. May track and order maintenance supplies.May clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, rest rooms, test kitchens, offices, etc.Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas.Operates scrubber, pallet jack, and high lift if required to perform duties.Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
