Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Rapid Response Team for night shifts. You will coordinate nursing care, deliver direct patient care, and educate patients and families while supporting transitions of care.

You will lead quality initiatives and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications include a nursing program graduate with RN licensure, strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and provide direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families and manage transitions of care.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level and resources.
• May drive personal vehicle as part of role duties.
