Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for night shifts (7pm–7am) at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. The role focuses on interpreting care plans, ensuring safe nursing care, and delivering individualized patient care with careful assessment and ongoing evaluation.

Required are an RN license, associated RN degree (BSN preferred), and BLS. Per diems are expected to maintain detailed records and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN state license is required
• BLS certification required
• PALS/NRP preferred for pediatric care

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
