Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the 4 South PCU in Altamonte Springs, FL. You will assess patients, create and adjust care plans, administer meds, educate families, and work with a multidisciplinary team on a 7pm–7am schedule in a fast-paced unit.

You will need an ASN in Nursing, Florida RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with at least 6 months of RN experience. Epic is used for charting and ongoing education is encouraged.

Qualifications

Associate of Science degree in Nursing is required.
Current Florida RN licensure (or multistate) is required.
Minimum six months of RN experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
Collaborate with staff to coordinate care and ensure teamwork.
