Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift on the medical floor at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana. The unit handles adult patients with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients.

A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered where applicable. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinate with the health team, and ensure evidence-based practice and documentation.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree* from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
