Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a night-shift Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit-5EW at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role is full-time, nights, 72 hours per pay period, with a $5K new-hire sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering medications, IV management, and coordinating care plans within ANA standards. Requires AZ RN license, 1 year RN experience, and BLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN within 60 months of hire or 5+ years RN experience.
• 1 year RN experience required for float positions.
• Arizona nursing license or compact state license upon hire; license must be obtained within 60 days.
• BLS certification required; unit-specific certification as required by specialty area.
• National certification for unit-specific patient population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms and help perform diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications and manage IV lines with careful dosage checks.
• Develop and contribute to patient care plans; provide education to patients and families.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff and ensure competency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nursing care.
• Promote stroke care protocols and participate in quality improvement.
