Job summary

Sanford Broadway Med Surg in Fargo, ND is seeking an experienced RN for a 36-hour weekly night shift in a 47-bed unit serving nephrology, urology and general surgery patients. The role emphasizes compassionate, team-oriented care with opportunities for career growth through the Sanford Nurse Residency Program and Clinical Ladder.

The RN must graduate from an accredited program, hold an unencumbered RN license, and may benefit from a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure may apply.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Meet department competencies and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families and perform triage as part of care planning.
• Coordinate care across all phases of prevention, treatment and follow-up.
