Job summary

The Clinical Nurse (RN) I position on IMC/General Surgical Unit at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME welcomes new graduates. This full-time night-shift role requires three 12-hour shifts per week and provides a structured Nurse Residency pathway to support transition from student to practicing nurse.

Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care, with care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine.
• New graduates welcome for entry-level RN role.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, document, and evaluate nursing care.
