Job summary
AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift at the New Smyrna Beach location. The role requires accurate patient assessments, care planning with an interdisciplinary team, medication administration, and patient education.

Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Ability to float to appropriate departments within scope.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with the team.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
- Supervise nursing personnel to deliver safe patient care.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and medications.
- Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests.
- Monitor lab work and report abnormal results.
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support.
- Maintain infection control and documentation in medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and coordinate with team.
