Job summary

Advatix LATAM client seeks an experienced RN to cover Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units in Wray, Colorado on a 13-week local and travel contract. Night shifts 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 12-hour rotations, with float between departments.

The role requires active RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, prior ED or MS RN experience, and travel nursing readiness. Cerner EMR familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for Colorado or appropriate assignment.
• ED and/or Medical-Surgical RN experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications current.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to float between departments and cover 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care within both Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical settings.
• Float between Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical areas as required.
• Assess patients, develop and implement appropriate plans of care, and monitor patient responses.
• Manage patient needs in an environment with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for clinical documentation, communication, and patient-care workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Adapt nursing care to changing patient acuity, clinical conditions, and unit needs.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control practices.
