UC Health is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac/Neuro Med Surg Unit on the Night Shift at West Chester Hospital in West Chester, OH. The RN will support a 36-bed 1st Floor Med Surg Unit, delivering high-quality care based on clinical assessment and established standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associates Degree in Nursing, required.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• BLS.
• Current OH RN License.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient in a collaborative effort with the other healthcare team members and patient/family within the time frame indicated by unit's standards of practice.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels of associates involved in the patient's care, establishing priorities based on patient needs.
• Provides clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment and involves family/guardian in assessment and care.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing, required

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Bachelors Degree in Nursing, preferred

BLS

Current OH RN License
