Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse at Wellstar Health System, Inc. is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team. The nurse provides individualized, high-quality and safe care, guided by Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based standards.

Licensed RNs in Georgia will practice under the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics. The role supports service excellence and voice of the patient within Wellstar governance structures.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Georgia (or eligibility for licensure)
• BLS certification required or equivalent
• Experience in direct patient care preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered care tailored to age, gender, and disease.
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team and communicate with patients and families.
• Adhere to professional practice standards and Wellstar policies.
• Participate in governance, performance improvement, and research to enhance care quality.
• Serve as a preceptor/mentee to other nursing staff as needed.
