Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments, assesses patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality before procedure.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing as assigned.
• Follows respiratory safety protocols and standards.
• Communicates effectively with care teams and leadership.
• Maintains and sanitizes respiratory equipment.
• Implements physician orders and documents treatments.
• Ensures PPE use and infection control compliance.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Demonstrates judgment in emergencies and collaborates on stabilization.
• Implements age-appropriate oxygen therapy as needed.
• Performs other duties and maintains attendance.
• Complies with all policies.
