Select Specialty Hospital - Dallas/Ft Worth in Plano, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement respiratory care plans, and participate in endotracheal tube management for critically ill patients. The role emphasizes education, patient-family counseling, and ongoing quality improvement.

Minimum qualifications include NBRC CRT or RRT, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. A state license is required.

Formación

• Active NBRC credential or state equivalent (CRT/RRT).
• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (PRN: ACLS upon hire).

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment plan.
• Deliver respiratory care to patients with critical conditions.
• Perform insertion/removal of endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Educate and counsel patients and families.
