Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - McKeesport / Select Medical seeks a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for per diem night shifts, 7-7. The role delivers critical care, evaluates patients, and performs airway management with a focus on quality outcomes.

Must hold NBRC CRT/RRT, current state licensure, BLS and ACLS on hire. Per diem status includes benefits eligibility after 1,000 hours and opportunities for advancement within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation is required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
