Job summary

FMOL Health seeks a Registered Nurse 2 for Rapid Response (Nights) in Jackson, MS. The RN will coordinate and deliver patient care within a team-based model, conduct patient teaching and discharge planning, and collaborate with ancillary departments to uphold hospital standards.

The role requires one year of RN experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a current Mississippi nursing license with BLS.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an RN required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Mississippi RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing nursing functions for patients on the unit.
• Initiates and implements patient care plans and administers medications and IV solutions as ordered.
• Maintains standards of patient care and accurate recording/reporting; ensures supplies and equipment are available.
• Participates in orientation, training and unit performance improvement activities; follows infection-control policies.
