A logistics services company is seeking a Rail Switching Technician in Selma, Alabama. This full-time role involves safely moving railcars within an industrial facility and requires a safety-minded individual. Responsibilities include organizing railcars, ensuring secure connections, and adhering to safety protocols. Paid training is available for those without prior experience, and the position requires regular attendance during night shifts from 6 PM to 2 AM. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused and able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Wear required PPE without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Review track lists to organize railcars for spotting.
• Ensure railcars are properly connected and secured.
• Separate loaded cars for shipment from preloaded or empty railcars.
• Weigh inbound and outbound cars for compliance.
