Job summary

RLS Radiopharmacies in Port Washington, NY is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician to learn radiopharmaceutical processes and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on aseptic techniques, packaging and delivering radiopharmaceuticals, under supervision of a Pharmacist.

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday with a night shift 12:00am–8:00am. Starting wage is $25.00 per hour with higher pay based on experience; candidates must meet licensure and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED/local equivalent.
• PTCB certified or successful completion within 6 months of hire or current enrollment in an Accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Package radiopharmaceuticals for delivery for customers.
• Perform quality control on compounded products.
• Manage and maintain facility inventory.
• Perform disinfection task in the cleanroom, and stocking of sterile supplies.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory programs utilizing good documentation practices (GDP).
• Process and/or dual verify prescription entries.
• Duties as assigned by the Pharmacist.
